I wrote a book! Kinda! Occasionally I’ll come across a piece of health or fitness advice that sets my bullshit detector off hard.  I was reading Tools of Titans by Tim Ferriss (a book I highly recommend) when a couple of the people profiled in the book suggested that one of their secrets to health was using a sauna.

Quick Tip: Make Fluffier Eggs

In this video I discuss how to get fluffier scrambled eggs.  All you have to do is add about 1 tablespoon of club soda per egg and scramble it into the eggs.  The evaporation of the water combined with the carbonation gives you fantastically fluffy eggs, and if you cook them on low heat they turn out fantastic.

Trend Line Dieting

What we see above is an example of my weight trend for the past five days.  As explained in the previous post (here).

Trend line dieting is one of the simplest but also a surprisingly effective form of dieting.  Basically the idea is that all you track is your weight and using a trend line all you have to do is ensure that the line is moving the direction that you want.  For example, I want to lose weight, so it is my goal to make sure that the pictured trend line keeps decreasing, and as long as it does I do not need to worry.
